What project(s) are you working on?

I'm going to spend 30 minutes on my original fiction project, whether that be actual writing on the rough draft or just some brainstorming/outline sketching. Then I'm going to reward myself with a half-hour working on a totally self-indulgent fic that I've been pecking away at for months - it may never see the light of day but I like it enough that I don't care.

I am working on a longfic that I stalled out on hard last month. Considering I pride myself on regular updates and I left it at a terrible place, I really want to get back to it.

I'm here! I'm actually planning to get some academic writing done :)

I'm working on a little fic about Cassian's smiles; its one where I have the title and the general idea but not a lot more. I might spend some time on my Ice Dancing AU.

I ended up mainly working on the fic about smiles but made progress and its starting to have more of shape. Going to be a light little thing and it feels good to be writing again.

I'm working on a Guild Wars 2 fic that hardly anyone reads, but which makes me happy. :)

First lesson learned: either write at home, or arrive at the hipster coffee shop a lot earlier - there wasn't a seat left in the place. :( Fortunately plan B (go to the other, less trendy place up the block) worked out.

I liked having a longer block of time than usual set aside; I actually got so deep into some character background for my original project that I spent less time than anticipated on the drawerfic. Now I have to take a break & prep dinner, but I'm feeling energized and plan to come back for another writing session later. All in all, it was a good time.

Hi! I'm intellectual-carrot on tumblr, and I opened my stalled out fic and actually got maybe 10 sentences written in the half hour before dinner, which feels like a huge victory since it's been MONTHS since I've even been able to open the file. And now my guests are gone, dishes are washed and I'm going to try to dive back in. Thank you for suggesting it!

Ah! I missed this but would love to participate if you do this again!! I actually got to look at my WIP for the first time in a couple of weeks and got a little unstuck, so that's progress, I guess!
