Dear Yoda,

Thank you so much for creating something special for me! I've tried to give prompts that could work for both fic and art, as much as possible. And keep in mind that all of these prompts are suggestions which can be mixed and matched in any combination. If none of them inspire you, I'd love to receive whatever you feel excited and enthused about making.

General info

• Ratings & content: For fic, I'm happy to read any rating from General to Explicit; PWP for any of the ship-focused requests would be great. In visual media, I prefer suggestive over explicit, i.e. nudity without a focus on genitalia, blood but no heavy gore/wounds. I don’t know much extended canon (either the current Disney version or the old EU); if you’re inspired by it, feel free to use those characters and/or ideas, but be aware I may not get the reference
• General art likes: showing a character in the context of their work (piloting, repairing, even just holding a datapad); hugs, especially from behind; forehead touches/kisses; height differences or other contrasts (colour palette etc) between characters; snow/winter scenes; napping or sleeping together; or just a simple portrait would be lovely!
• General fic likes: trapped on a damaged spaceship or stranded on a deserted planet; alternate first meetings; weird uses & side-effects of the Force (including "the Force made them do it"); amnesia, time loops, and other tricks with memory; there was only one [blank]
• My general likes haven't changed much in the past few years, so feel free to look through my list of bulletproof tropes, reblogged art on Tumblr, and/or previous exchange letters if you'd like more hints
• DNWs: noncon/rape (dubcon fine); completely tragic endings (bittersweet or ambiguous is fine); character or ship bashing; V-shaped threesomes or uneven poly ships in general; modern AUs in fic (in art is fine, and canon-divergent or fixit AUs are great for both)
• If any of this is confusing or needs expansion, don’t hesitate to ask me questions via the mods

Single character request

Mon Mothma
A detailed political biography of Mon would be amazing—but if the thought of writing about Senatorial intrigue doesn't thrill you, I'd love to see more of how she became involved in the Rebellion.
Prompts: When was the moment she realized she had to oppose Palpatine? Fierce debates with other Rebel leaders over the ends versus the means—how does she deal with making mistakes that cost lives? Or something more intimate and personal: which smashball team does she root for? what inspired young Mon to go into politics?
Optional ships welcome: Mon/anyone from her generation of Rebel leadership (Draven, Padmé, Obi-Wan, Saw Gerrera, etc)

Platonic ship requests

Grogu & Porg
I wasn’t the genius who nominated this tag but as soon as I saw it, I had to request it. Both cute and fluffy or more ferocious Wild Kingdom-style takes are welcome!
Prompts: Grogu meets a porglet chick and learns that eggs are friends, not food; alternatively, two apex predators clash over fishing resources, or perhaps co-operate to catch more? I don’t know, go nuts!

Grogu & Ben Solo
Listen, I know the timeline is a bit wonky but I don’t care—give me all the AU Ben Solo growing up with baby cousin/brother Grogu shenanigans! (Background Din/Luke and Han/Leia fine for this request.)
Prompts: getting into trouble at Luke’s Jedi academy; comparing ear sizes; Grogu demanding piggy-back rides everywhere; Ben deciding he wants to become a Mandalorian because they have cool helmets and capes

Jyn Erso & Lyra Erso
I love that they resemble each other both physically and in character; Lyra's fierce courage & impulsivity certainly seems to have been passed down to Jyn.
Prompts: mother-daughter hair braiding; was either of them Force-sensitive in some way? What were Lyra's religious beliefs and did she (try to) teach them to Jyn?

Jyn Erso & Saw Gerrera
Saw Gerrera as a surrogate father fascinates me. What was he like as a parent before his paranoia became so strong? Was his relationship with Jyn strained or loving—or both?
Prompts: Saw teaching young Jyn any kind of skill, from tying her shoelaces to firing a blaster; the final goodbye, even though Jyn doesn't know it

Jyn Erso & Bodhi Rook, K-2SO & Bodhi Rook
Jyn & Bodhi have such interesting potential sources of tension—were Galen and Bodhi in love? did he talk about his lost family to Bodhi?—and also strong points of empathy between two people who weren’t looking to become involved in the Rebellion but found they couldn’t stay out of it.

For Kay & Bodhi, I love the parallels between them—both ex-Imperials, both “reprogrammed” as Kay points out—and really wish they’d had a chance to survive & develop a snarky friendship.

Ship requests

Cassian Andor/Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor/Jyn Erso/Bodhi Rook
I will always be a sucker for damaged people with deep trust issues and a lot of baggage trying to deal with the fact that they suddenly want to rely on someone else—how did that even happen?
Prompts: survivors’ guilt; adrenaline-fuelled sex; any hurt/comfort tropes; the other two gang up on Cassian (however you choose to interpret that)

Davits Draven/Galen Erso
Such fascinating potential in a Galen-lives scenario! I doubt that Draven would feel any remorse for what he intended; would Galen accept that, or be angry? Both of these men have had a lot of practice living with the supposed lesser of two evils…
Prompts: uncomfortable similarities; how others (especially Cassian & Jyn) might react if it’s more than just a brief hookup

Davits Draven/Mon Mothma
As part of the founding generation of the Alliance, even though they’re not that old (at least in the OT era), these two must have shared a lot of intense experiences. I love it when opposites attract, or at least create tension, so I’m here for anything that highlights their contrasting skills and values.
Prompts: stolen moments during wartime; grudging respect slowly becomes actual fondness, even though they’ll probably never see eye to eye; one is captured and resigned to death/imprisonment while the other plans a desperate, unexpected rescue

Galen Erso/Lyra Erso, Galen/Lyra/Saw Gerrera
How did a geologist and an experimental physicist meet and fall in love? Did they choose to have a child, or was Jyn an accident? What made them trust Saw enough to choose him as her surrogate parent if they were captured? I'm always here for Force-sensitive!Lyra or an AU in which she lives, whether that means the whole family is taken captive or Lyra escapes with Jyn. I've read Catalyst, so feel free to draw elements from it, but I'd also love to see your own version. 
Prompts: caving expeditions in search of kyber deposits; clandestine meetings on Jedha or Lah'mu; any exploration of Lyra's belief in the Force and how that affected her decisions; Galen remembering better times while in captivity—perhaps the others haunt him (figuratively or supernaturally)

(Although I put this request under the ships section, I’d be equally happy with shippy or gen versions of it.)
I just want to see Ben find a way to live with the consequences of what he did, realize that both forgiveness and “redemption” are moving targets he may never reach, and carry on without falling back to the Dark Side. Do the people around him help, hinder, or just give him a good smack upside the head as needed?
Prompts: being forced to socialize is worse than being forced to work together; arguments over who gets to pilot the Falcon; unexpected moments of sympathy/recognition help, but they can’t fix everything
