I just spent 5 hours outside in 30C weather at a Canada Day festival for newcomers and I. am. wiped.

It was a great event; we talked up the library and gave away ~200 kids books, but right now I need a cold shower and a cold beer--possibly at the same time--before I can feel human again.

/googles celsius to fahrenheit conversion... Ugh. I think anything above 75F (23C? 24C?) is Too Hot. It was 93F down here yesterday! Summer is Gross.

It's been hovering in the high 20s - low 30s here for a week, which is bearable as long as it cools down at night. If it doesn't, it's grim (we have a hundred year old house & no air-conditioning).
